TOUCH POINTS

A Family History & Genealogy Site

LOEWEN / NEUMANN / KLASSEN / PETERS / EITZEN

Our homes are filled with objects (personal items, handcrafted items, tools) that remind us of the people whose memory we cherish. These are the “touch points” that connect us to the memories of those people and events we cherish and wish not to forget. For me, it is the photos and family stories linked to important people in my life. Those stories inspire me and remind me of who I am and of my roots. They are the “touch points” in my life that I have and continue to treasure. This site is a sampling of some important touch points in my life.

The historical overview of my paternal and maternal ancestry, provided here, covers approximately, the period of 1735 to 1950.

Mennonite Life in Pre & Post Revolution Russia – The articles, both published and unpublished, found here relate to family stories based both on the experiences of my extended family in Russia between the years 1910 and 1940, as well as on their first years in Canada.

All genealogical family data will be found at this link.
