Neumann Stories and Anecdotes

Heinrich Dietrich (1885–1955) and Sarah (Wiebe) Neumann (1890-1958), arrived in Greendale in 1945 via Gem, Alberta and Bredenbury, Saskatchewan, after having immigrated, in 1926, from Rosenwald, in the Barnaul Settlement, Asiatic Russia. This large family of 15 spawned many memorable experiences, both serious and amusing. These anecdotes incorporate both. The Neumanns enjoyed a good story, even if it occasionally was somewhat exaggerated. In my opinion, David Neumann was, perhaps, the best story teller of them all. Some of these originate from his memoirs.
